
There will be City elections in both Lennox and Worthing on Tuesday, April 12.
For the City of Lennox, running unopposed are Orville Wiebers for Mayor, Chad Wulf for Ward I (one year term), Greg Poppenga for Ward II (two year term), and Alan Ratliff for Ward II (one year term). Phillip Fett (incumbent) and Glenn Nelson will vie for a two year term in Ward I. Mike Gregg is being challenged by Richard Schriever for the two year term in Ward III. Voting will take place at Lennox City Hall, located at 107 S. Main St. from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, April 12.

At the City of Worthing Crystal Jacobson will challenge incumbent Carrie McDannel for the 3-year City Commissioner seat. Jeremy Forrest will be up against incumbent Ryan Schlieman for a two-year term Commissioner seat. Running unopposed for a two-year term is Commissioner Sheri Lund. Worthing voters will cast their ballot at Worthing Civic Center, 121 S. Main St., from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on April 12.
There will be no election for Lennox School District 41-4. Merris Miller and Nancy Nelson will remain on the board.
