The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT), in cooperation with the city of Lennox and SFC Civil Constructors, held an open house style public meeting for the Highway 17 project on Wednesday, March 30, at 7 p.m. at the Lennox School Gymnasium.
The $3.5 million project will reconstruct one mile of Highway 17 from Highway 44 to the north city limits of Lennox. Work is tentatively scheduled to begin Monday, April 4, and includes grading, storm sewer, water main, sanitary sewer, curb and gutter, roadway lighting and asphalt surfacing.
