July 12-14 Lennox hosted the Region 4A Teener baseball tournament. The Lennox Teeners faced Sioux Falls Christian in first round action, coming out victorious 20-0 in three innings. Tyson Stoebner was tasked with the pitching duties for Lennox allowing one hit in the game while striking out six. Stoebner also led the team in the batters box going 3 for 4 with a single, double and triple. Also contributing to the hit parade were Brock Anderson with two singles, Zach Leisinger with a double and single, Holden Wagner with two singles, JD Kirchner with two singles and Quincy Ihnen with two singles.
In game two Monday night Lennox faced Tea with a trip to the Championship on the line. Ihnen was on the hill to start the game and started out strong retiring 9 of the first 12 batters he faced and Lennox jumped out to a 4-0 lead. Tea made a game of it by scoring three runs in the top of the 4th inning to make the score 4-3, but Lennox responded with six runs in the bottom of the 4th to take control 10-3.
