Community  Worship at Westerman Park 10:30 a.m.

The Lennox Area Ministerial Association hosts at 10:30 a.m.  

People are asked to bring their own lawn chairs.

at the 4H Fair Grounds.

MONDAY, JULY 4th, 2022: 

Firecracker Road Race 8:00 a.m.

Races include 1 & 2 mile and 5K, 10K. Registration begins at 7 a.m. at Lennox High School;

race begins at 8 a.m.; Pre-registration: $45 for both 5K and 10K races, $50 day of event. (605 Running Co. will be timing the event and provide online registration). For the 1 mile, $10 pre-registration at the city office and $15 the day of the race, for the 2 mile $20 pre-registration, $25 day of event.

Independence Day Parade 10:30 a.m. — JULY 4, 2022

Entries line-up by 9:30 a.m. Line-up at the Sinning Sports Complex on the corner of HWY 17 & HWY 44. 

​

Car Show 12 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. (Registration 9AM-Noon)

Hwy 44  1/2 mile west of Hwy 17 (Old Football Field)

Little Miss Lennox Contest 1:00 p.m.

At Westerman Park. Open to girls ages 3-10 years. To enter email jamiewinterboer2180@yahoo.com or call 605-321-6695. Deadline to enter is June 26th. Contestants are judged in four categories. The four categories include: Best 4th of July outfit (attire), Stage Poise, Appearance, and 30 Second Talent or generic on stage questions. The questions that will be asked are not given in advance. Contestant’s 30 second talent can include: sing a song of choice, dance, cartwheels, etc. Contestants supply own music.The pageant will start Monday, July 4th with a ride in the parade. Contestants will line up at 9:30 a.m. at the Sinning Sports Complex (please note later drop-off time).

Lennox Area Museum

Open 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., closed during the parade.  Masks will be required out of respect for our volunteers. Located at 3rd & Main, Admission free. Donations welcome.
