Ready to race…
Plans are being finalized for the Lennox Old Fashioned 4th of July events in 2021. This year, the majority of events will be held on Monday, July 5th.
One of the most popular events is the Firecracker Road Race, sponsored by the Lennox Lions Club and the Lennox Community Fund. Races include 1 and 2 mile and 5K and 10K. Registration is open online now at https://www.athlinks.com/event/lennox-firecracker-road-race-53486.
Registration on the day of the event will begin Monday, July 5, 2021 at 7 a.m. at Lennox High School; the race begins at 8 a.m.
Pre-registration is $45 for both 5K and 10K races or $50 the day of event. 605 Running Co. will be timing the event. For the 2 mile cost is $20 for pre-registration and $25 day of event. For the 1 mile, cost is a $10 pre-registration at the Lennox City Hall office and $15 the day of the race.
1 Mile - Orange Path - start at LHS, North to Hwy 44, East to HWY 17, South to Oriole Ave., West to Main St., North - End LHS
2 Mile - Blue Path - start at LHS, North to HWY 44, West to Elm St., North to 1st Ave., East to Main St., South to LHS - end there
5K - Red Path - Start LHS, North to Hwy 44, West to Cleveland, North to 1st Ave., East to Main St., South to LHS - end there
10K Green Path - Start LHS, South to Oriole Ave., East to HWY 17, South to 280th St., West to 465th St. (Cleveland), North to Boynton, East to Main, South to LHS - end there
