The landscape is changing on the north side of Lennox. Homes are going up in the newest housing development in town. Nielson Construction broke ground in June of 2020 at Countryside Acres, roads were the first to be developed, now homes are taking shape.
“Due to supply and availability of materials we weren’t able to get going in Countryside as early as planned,” said Nielson Construction marketing strategist Sydney Frey. “However, construction is currently in full swing.”
Currently, Nielson Construction has 11 in-construction homes. They are single family homes in a variety of floor plans with 2-3 bedrooms on the main level. Floor plans and more details for each specific home will be available on the company’s website very soon at www.nielsonconstruction.net.
The 80-acre development has room for approximately 140 homes in the first phase, which includes mostly single family homes and some fourplexes and twin homes.
Frey said, “Coming soon we plan to have a model home established in Countryside and have planned to complete 30 new units annually over the next few years.”
