Rebellion Rockets, a homeschool FIRST LEGO League (FLL) team made up of kids from Crooks, Lennox, Sioux Falls, Tea, and Larchwood, participated in the December 15th FLL Qualifying Tournament. This year’s theme is “Into Orbit.”
Each team competed in the areas of Project Presentation, Core Values Evaluation, Robot Design Presentation, and the Robot Game.
Receiving the Rising Star Award, Rebellion Rockets was recognized as” the team comprised of young and/or rookie team members who the judges notice and expect great things from in the future.” Also, they were one of thirteen teams awarded a “Golden Ticket” to continue on to the State Tournament February 2 at Augustana University.
