Lennox City Administrator resigns

Following an executive session during Monday night’s Lennox City Council meeting, the resignation of City Administrator Amanda Anglin was approved effective October 12, 2018. The motion carried 5 to 1 with councilman John Kirchner voting no.

Anglin said she and her family are pursuing other opportunities.

“Thank you to the City of Lennox for the opportunity to be a part of the community. I wish everyone well in the future,” Anglin said.

Also following executive session, Council approved the hire of John Roman as a full-time police officer at $21 per hour with potential increase up to $.50 per hour after a six month probationary review.

During the regular meeting Council made quick work of the agenda, approving minutes of the previous meeting, claims and financial reports as presented.

Councilman Chad Reilly was absent from the meeting.

Under reports Mitch Mergen, City Engineer with Stockwell Engineers updated the council on current projects.
