The Chancellor Total Stop was robbed at gunpoint on the evening of December 12th. Lennox police officer Ethan Larson was first on scene.
The clerk working that evening, told deputies she thought she recognized the suspect, and gave a description.
Turner County Sheriff Byron Nogelmeier said the suspect was apprehended later that night at a home in Chancellor; 33 year old Austin Kruger, was then taken in to custody.
Kruger allegedly entered the store with a hand gun and demanded money. Kruger took some cash and left the premises on foot.
Nogelmeier said a handgun and clothes used during the robbery, as well as some cash were recovered at the Chancellor home. Kruger is currently being held on $5,000 cash bond.
