Firefighters hold monthly training

Every emergency scene is different, whether it’s a fire or an accident that firemen respond to, they have to be prepared.

In an effort to perform safely and effectively the Lennox Volunteer Firemen spend at least one day a month training.

During these monthly sessions, they focus on a different topic. In December they spent the evening training on bailout.

Firefighters learn how to quickly evacuate a building without a doorway. This firefighter self-rescue procedure is an important tool that firefighters must master.
