LHS Student Council prepares for Homecoming 2015

The Lennox High School Student Council (pictured here) is looking forward to another busy year starting with Homecoming activities.  The theme this year is “Let’s Dance.”

High School and Jr. High students will show their spirit by dressing up during the week of September 21-25.  The days are as follows:  Monday - Country Western; Tuesday - Tacky Tourist; Wednesday - Superhero Day; Thursday - Twin Day; Friday - Spirit Day.  

The public is invited to attend the planned activities throughout the week:  Monday, September 21: Boys’ Golf (Dakota XII Conference) at Dell Rapids at 9:00 am, JV Football at Madison at 4:00, and Coronation at 8:00; Tuesday, September 22: Middle School football at Madison at 4:30, and Middle School volleyball at Dakota Valley at 4:30; Thursday, September 24: Cross Country at Sioux Center at 4:40, Volleyball at home at 5:00, Middle School Volleyball at home at 4:30, and Freshman Football at home at 4:30; Friday, September 25: Football against Tri-Valley at home at 7:00; Saturday, September 26: Marching band travels to Brandon and the Tri-State Festival in Luverne, MN.

The Homecoming Parade will begin at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 25.  The parade route will begin at the east end of Park Drive on Main Street, heading north on Main Street to First Avenue.  At First Avenue, the parade will head west to Elm Street and continue south to Fifth Avenue and end on the west side of the elementary school.
