Scheduled to appear is Jim Groth, Carolina Story, and The Hegg Brothers (in that order), between the hours of 11:15 AM - 4:00 PM.
Jim Groth is a truly a legendary musician in the South Dakota music scene. A professional musician since the early 1960′s, JIm has played almost every style of music one could think of. He is best known, recently, for playing in the Sioux Falls band, The Stallions, and his Irish music group Trefoil. Jim plays excellent solo, acoustic shows as well and also performs with The Rock Garden Tour. Jim is a very talented visual artist, painter, potter, and is inducted into both the SD and IA Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. http://thewhitewallsessions.com/sample-artist/jim-groth/
Carolina Story is a husband and wife duo, Ben and Emily Roberts. Emily grew up in South Dakota and Ben in Arkansas. They fell in love in Memphis, TN and currently reside in East Nashville,TN. They recently released Chapter One, which at the time of this post, was at #12 on The Americana Radio Charts and still climbing. Ben and Emily are blue collar musicians, performing blue collar songs. That’s the way they like it.
Carolina Story has been touring, writing and played in excess of 650 shows in 43 states since 2009. It’s music they believe in.http://carolinastory.bombplates.com/
The Hegg Brothers, Jon and Jeremy, are musicians from Sioux Falls. Having grown up in this area they operate under the premise that if you pick really good songs and perform them really well people tend to enjoy. While that seems simple it is actually hard to do and a rarity. They usually play as a duo but on occasions put together larger groups that include Spooncat! and the very popular annual Holiday Jam with the Hegg Brothers.
