News preview for Aug. 1st issue…

Family fun at SESD Thresherman’s Show

Agriculture is the state’s number one industry and for those who have worked the land, it is often more than a job—it is a passion. The Southeast South Dakota (SESD) Threshermen share that passion for the land, tractors and farming the old fashioned way. And, they bring it to everyone at their Annual Show held each year at the Goeman Auction Grounds, one mile north of Lennox on Highway 17. This year’s show, the 29th annual event for the SESD Thersherman’s Association, will begin on Friday, Aug. 2 and continue through Sunday. There is no charge to attend the show or any of the events.
