Jay and Julie Klusmann hadn’t planned on adopting two Haitian boys but Julie Klusmann said you cannot ignore God’s plans.
“We feel like when God puts these opportunities in your life and you can choose to follow through with what he’s given you or you can choose to ignore it, and we don’t want to ignore it,” Klusmann said.
The Klusmanns adopted Stanley, 6, in April. Stanley came to stay with them while he was in the United States on a medical visa. Klusmann said circumstances in Haiti did not allow for Stanley to return to his family and the Klusmanns did not want to let him go.
