Sixty-two Lennox High School students to graduate Saturday

That’s the motto for the Lennox High School Class of 2013 and they will have one of those moments on Saturday, when they receive their high school diplomas. The Class of 2013 Commencement exercises will begin at 10 a.m. at the Lennox High School gymnasium.
“Since we really didn’t have a spring, it’s hard to believe that graduation is only a few days away,” remarked High School Principal Tim Raabe. “Reality didn’t seem to strike until I flipped the calendar page.”

Lenkota Country Club open for season

“What a difference a day makes.”
Since the Lenkota Country Club opened, Manager Ralph Delaney has had to cope with ice and snow to temperatures in the 80s. Just last week, it was snow on Wednesday, green grass on Thursday, prompting Delaney’s remark of “What a difference a day makes.”
Lenkota is ready for golfers, despite the setbacks caused by the volatile spring weather. Volunteers and Lenkota Club members came out in force to clean up the course after the April ice storm.
