City moves forward to make recreational trail master plan
Lennox City Council opened their meeting to the public at 7:15 on Monday night, following an executive session.
Their first action of the evening was to accept the negotiated agreement with Gridor, the contractor for the waste water treatment facility. The agreement calls for Gridor to pay liquidated damages of $12,411.20.

Lunch program promoting healthier options

Students across the country, as well as school food service workers, have been adjusting to new changes to USDA’s National School Lunch Program.
For Barb Schroder, Lennox school district director of food service, the changes mean serving fewer calories, more colorful vegetables and more fruits. One of the biggest changes Schroder has noticed is the reduction of sodium.
